People who use bad grammar! Regardless of what the rappers say, conversate is NOT A WORD! The word is converse, dammit! If you type it and a squiggly red line appears beneath it, that means it's WRONG!
Another word - irregardless! It drives me crazy to hear educated people use that inappropriate, non-word. Irregardless negates itself. Use Irrespective or Regardless; you cannot combine the two and split the difference!

No, biotch...you're an idiot! Seriously, though, I want to slap folks on the forehead when they use your and you're interchangeably. I absolutely refuse to like anything on Facebook that has your used incorrectly in the title. If you're going to take the time to actually create a group, how about using proper English in the freakin' title!
Other non-grammar irritations????
- White shoes before Easter! Yes, I realize that it is 80 degrees outside. I also understand that Easter is late this year. However, regardless of what those heifers at Seventeen Magazine say, it is not appropriate to wear white shoes between Labor Day and Easter.
- Deodorant is not OPTIONAL!
- Jacked up toes in sandals. If you are going to wear sandals (hopefully in a color other than white), have your damn toes done! If you can't afford a pedicure, how about a little soap and water??? I can't even eat my lunch just thinking about it.
I think that's all I've got today. Stay tuned, though; I'm sure someone or something will piss me off before it's all said and done. My dear friend PMDD is here for a little visit.

I agree with most of your post, however, I live in the south and wear white year round. This is no longer considered bad etiquette and it's reasons in the first place are unfounded today.

I'm too fat to wear white so I don't have to worry about that bit of social etiquette. I agree with all your points though.
Living in Eastern KY bad grammar is so prevalent I start to think I'm the one who isn't speaking/writing properly.

I don't wear white shoes or clothing, but I'm not sure anymore why it matters. White is not a very flattering color in clothing or accessories. But that's just bad taste.
Like Wasteland, I am completely surrounded by those butchering the English language. I am sure the correct way has somehow become antiquated. "No, I ain't stewpid. Yewr just OLD!"
Usually, when a mistake seems glaring to me and no one else, I check to make sure that I actually am right. I am, but people don't care. Why does anyone still teach English?
I love when someone says--your a idiot. What grade were we in when we were taught to use an in front of a word beginning in a vowel? I teach English and it's a foreign language!!
